Hi, I’m Christina (or Chris), She/her.

I help adults and adolescents rebuild trust with themselves and in their relationships, especially after traumatic experiences have made that difficult. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in confusing emotions or reactivity, disconnected from their bodies or emotions, or worn down by environments that don’t support healing. I can support you in feeling more connected to yourself and in your relationships.

You might work well with me if:

  • You want a therapist who is engaged and responsive rather than passive

  • You value “realness”, two way feedback, and occasional humor

  • You feel disconnected from your body or have trouble trusting internal signals

  • Identifying or talking about emotions feels awkward or overwhelming

  • Your past experiences keep creeping into your present life and impacting your life and relationships, leaving you exhausted and longing for relief

My Background

My work is rooted in relational-cultural theory, which means I pay attention to how power, culture, and relationships shape well being. I believe healing happens through connection to ourselves and others.

I came to this work following my own process of healing from complex food and mental health challenges. I completed my dietetics degree from the University of British Columbia in 2012 and have specialized in eating disorders since 2018. Working in higher levels of care, I continued to witness trauma and relational wounds intersecting with eating disorders, which motivated me to deepen my clinical training beyond nutrition. I graduated from Seattle University with my MAEd in clinical mental health counseling and completed EMDR training in 2024.

I am fat liberation aligned, weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming (including autism and PDA).
